W7RJW “Net” working submitted by Rebecca Winters – Here are some local nets to listen to and participate in. This is one good way to learn how we communicate on the airwaves as amateur (ham) radio operators.
I spent a year just listening to a couple of these nets and how experienced operators talk to each other, before I even tried for my Technician license. It REALLY helped me a lot. I strongly recommend doing this on a regular basis. Enjoy!
